Solera Sustainable Energies Company™ and Zerofootprint™ Committed to Working Together

September 27, 2006, TORONTO, ON: Solera Sustainable Energies Company™ and Zerofootprint™ are collaborating on furthering their shared vision of reducing our ecological footprint.

By offering innovative products and services, Solera has been empowering clients to adopt cleaner, safer renewable energy technologies. Solera President, Leonard Allen, supports his broad vision with a call-to-action entitled “Operation Solarization™”. This vision is perfectly in keeping with Zerofootprint’s renewable energy project financing program, offered through Zerofootprint Energy™, which will help make “Operation Solarization” financially feasible for consumers and builders. It also reflects Zerofootprint’s goal of providing information, products, and services to the global network of consumers and businesses that wish to reduce their environmental impact.

“We’re very excited to be working more closely with Zerofootprint to build on the many synergies between the two organizations,” said Allen. “Our goal is to provide holistic sustainable energy solutions that bring greatest value to consumers, and that will have a positive long-term impact in reducing our ecological footprint.”

Solera and Zerofootprint will be working together at two upcoming trade shows:

IIDEX / NEOCON – the premier design and construction trade show. National Trade Centre, Exhibition Place September 28 and 29, 2006

GREEN ENERGY HOME SHOW Kortright Centre for Conservation September 30 and October 1, 2006

Solera and Zerofootprint will be at Booth 24 on the ‘Green Boulevard’ at the IIDEX/NeoCon Canada Exhibition and Conference. IIDEX/NeoCan Canada has taken clear leadership in promoting environmental issues. It is also on its way to becoming, through sustainable suppliers and contractors, the nation’s first truly green trade show.

The Founder and President of Zerofootprint, Dr. Ron Dembo, will be speaking at the event with Azar Loghman, an innovative designer and architect, on Thursday, September 28th at 4 pm. They will discuss how builders, developers, and executives can profitably build ‘green’. The first part of their presentation will examine strategies that can be followed to achieve this goal, focusing on three types of renewable energy: geothermal, wind, and solar. In the second part, they will concentrate on making green buildings affordable. More specifically, Ron and Azar will explore how the upfront capital risks associated with sustainable technologies can be avoided with knowledge of the right resources.
