It’s amazing how being the leader of a minority government can change a guy. Not only has arch-denier Stephen Harper grudgingly acknowledged that global warming is afoot, but now, only days after announcing that his regime would ignore legislation calling on Canada to meet Kyoto responsibilities, he’s saying he’ll respect it. Perhaps we should have only minority governments from now on.
