The Canadian Environment Awards: A Celebration of Community Achievement is a national program that recognizes individuals and groups of Canadians who have made outstanding contributions to the protection, restoration and preservation of the Canadian environment.

On June 2, enjoy an expansive view of the Lake Ontario waterfront as Toronto’s Liberty Grand hosts the annual Canadian Environment Awards Gala.

That night, environmental champions for 2008 will be celebrated, including 18 Gold and Silver Community Awards recipients, the Grand Prize winners of The Green Team Challenge and photographer Edward Burtynsky, this year’s Ideas for Life™ Award winner.

Tickets are $125 per person for the general public and $60 per person for students and members of not-for-profit groups.
