The Toronto Tree Tours tell the stories of the urban forest and the people and places it sustains.
Guided walking tours are led by LEAF staff and guest experts in neighbourhoods thoughout Toronto. Stories are gathered in collaboration with local community members and groups. Walks are taken by 20 to 40 people, who are encouraged to ask questions, tell their own stories and provide insight along the way. Participants are introduced to the lives of individual trees, the benefits of the urban forest, and ways to care for the millions of trees that grace our city. Certain tours are also offered in second languages, depending on the community in which they are based.
